Puttnala pappu chutney

Recipe from my mom

Ingredients:

  • Puttnala pappu – 2 spoons
  • Coconut powder – 2 spoons
  • jeera – 1 teaspoon
  • tamarind – small ball
  • garlic – 2-3 cloves
  • salt – as needed
  • green chilies – 2-3 (as per taste level)
  • water

Preparation:

  1. Soak the tamarind in a small bowl for 15-20 mins
  2. Now add all the ingredients and grind to make a smooth paste
  3. You may add poppu/tadka if you want
